This new construction residence is a split three-bay/two-bay massing designed to fit the historic context of the neighborhood. The site plan accommodates a carport, swimming pool, and pool house. Downstairs, the entry hall leads to a traditional double parlor, with large double pocket doors separating the spaces. At the rear of the house is a generous kitchen adjacent to a family room with a new fireplace, leading to a mudroom as the main entrance from the carport. A private guest suite is situated at the recessed front two-bay portion of the building with its own porch downstairs. Upstairs are equal bedrooms with ensuite baths for the kids, and a dedicated playroom, laundry room, and primary suite. The primary bedroom and adjacent office both lead out to the front porch.

Cassidy served as the Architecture Project Manager, working with the clients and the city’s historic district to design and permit the project.
